Awards Plus is a 100% Australian family owned business. We aim to be a convenient “one stop shop” for all your award and recognition requirements. Our day is spent encouraging others, wherever you are and in whatever you do – hence our tag line of “Recognizing Achievement for a Lifetime”.
The majority of our comprehensive range of awards are crafted onsite at our factory in Unanderra, just south of Wollongong, Australia.
For over 30 years we have been experts in servicing the award needs of many organisations including many Australian schools from one end of the continent to the other, also sporting, music, dance and religious groups.
David Lewis originally started the company in the 1970s as a small local screen printing operation. Over time the business has traded as David-El Products Pty Ltd, David-El Awards Plus and now as just Awards Plus.
Under David’s careful guidance Awards Plus has grown to be a “supplier of choice”, serving its customers Australia wide (and beyond). David Lewis retired in early 2008 and the business is now managed by Ian Gillespie. Ian worked with David during the 1980s and went on to manage projects for a multinational company both here and in the US before returning to his hometown.
